National anchors come from industry associations (e.g. NFDA) and published industry rate surveys; editorial estimates are labeled as such on every page. CostMapped shares its engine and principles with sister sites Solar Savings Map and ReplaceCosts.
CostMapped is an independent project. It is not owned by, or affiliated with, any contractor, installer, lender or manufacturer. At present the site carries no advertising and no referral relationships; if that ever changes, it will be disclosed on every affected page.
